Passengers catching flights from Dubai International Airport this winter can kick off their journey with a superb line up of World Cup deals, prize competitions and big-screen action at Emirate Leisure Retail’s (ELR’s) family-friendly restaurants and sports lounges across the airport.
Jack’s Bar and Grill, The Hangar, The Sports Shack and The Draft House – located at Concourses A, B, C and D respectively – will show every match live on multiple, high-definition screens, with special F&B deals, daily games and giveaways, football décor and more from 15 November until 18 December. All venues are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
I was travelling to India this week, so decided to try out The Hangar at Concourse B. With several majestic- sized screens giving life-size coverage of World Cup and delicious meals to complement the same, it was one hell of an experience. A chic urban eating out experience is good enough to spoil the passengers before they hit the flights. And if you enjoy game or two of foosball, then The Hangar is the ideal place to be.
The Sport Shack, at Concourse C, is ELR’s newly-opened concept for a family-friendly, casual dining and entertainment, with 10 state-of-the-art screens for live sports viewing, as well as a pool table and a twin-screen PlayStation installation to show off your football skills.
ELR’s World Cup attractions at DXB include a Yellow Card/Red Card dining promotion, a foosball contest, instant discounts and special décor.
