But it’s not always that we get to sample much of North -western cuisine. Recently, we dashed into Sthan Restaurant, an ode to the culturally rich cuisine of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The word Sthan is the common element between HinduSthan, PakiSthan and AfghaniSthan.
Crafted with passion, the detailed Menu refers to specific dishes from Kabul, Peshawar, Karachi, Bombay, Delhi etc. are suited for café style eating – easy, flexible, welcoming. Their recent addition, the Parle -G Malai Kulfi Sandwich is a gourmet dessert with a nostalgic twist to our childhood memories. Surely, a must try!
To compliment the menu, the ambience offers a sense of belonging and warmth. The artwork and map on the walls, looks at the great cities and evokes a sense of nostalgia for the erstwhile Frontier Province. It also showcases how the food styles evolve as you move from Kabul to Karachi to Delhi.
