Czechia welcomed 52, 838 tourists from the Gulf region in 2023 with 50% increase over 2022 arrivals
Czechia is gearing up for another remarkable tourism season, set to surpass last year’s record-breaking visitor numbers. With over 22 million tourists in 2023, this year promises even greater numbers, strengthening the country’s status as a premier European destination. Throughout July and August, Prague anticipates welcoming over 1.5 million tourists, marking a significant increase from previous years and underscoring its growing charm as a must-visit city in Europe. Visitors flock to Prague not only for its iconic landmarks such as Prague Castle and Charles Bridge but also for its dynamic arts scene, bustling markets, and world-class dining options.
František Reismüller, Director of Czech Tourism, said, “The summer season will be strong, with a substantial number of foreigners coming. Czechia is not just a destination, it’s an experience.
